sooner or later

Max wasn't sure what he was suppose to say. Funny, how being a nurse came to mind over being a preacher now, but the truth was "Nancy has to get her blood pressure under control." He looked at both Geoff and Dayton. "It won't be an easy pregnancy."

"Great." Geoff sighed, but Dayton was rather cold with his arms crossed.

"You think its all my fault, don't you?" Dayton asked.

"Maybe if you hadn't came with me, none of this would have happened." Geoff then said to Dayton.

Dayton just squinted back, put his hands up as if he'd given up and walked away.

"I just thought you could talk to her, you know." Geoff kept hugging himself.

"I dunno if there is much else I can say. She's under a lot of stress. She needs her rest and well, maybe you could talk to her parents. I called them."

"You did?" Geoff looked surprised.

"Yeah, they have to be in on this. I don't think Nancy should go back to work until she gets this blood pressure thing under control. I'm pretty sure thats what she'll hear from the doctor." Max told him.

"I see." Geoff nodded. "It just might make things worse, you know."

"Well, we'll talk to them. Its best to get it all out in open sooner instead of later." Max sighed wishing there were things he could get out in the open in his own family. He wished he could practice what he preached.

Okie dokie, I've gotten all caught up on what I missed, yay!

Max to the rescue, he always knows what to do [: And haha, for some reason the sentence about Dayton squinting, putting hands up, and walking away made me smile. I can just picture it...
