Dayton's cell rang while Geoff was in the shower. He knew he should have taken one with him. He could have missed Nancy's call. But there was that little matter he wanted to get taken care of and she'd never got back to him about it.
"I want my fuck'n X-box 360!" were the first words that shot right out of his mouth.
"Well, you're not getting your fuck'n X-box 360!"
"Why?" Dayton winced. "I guess you'll have to change your locks. Cause I still got my damn key!You aren't getting it back until I get my X-Box."
"What is that suppose to mean?"
"Dayton, I need for you to come home," she was crying.
"What the hell for?" He couldn't understand this. She could go weeks without calling and then this. "You know I don't love you. I don't need you. We can't even stand each other! Give me my god-damn X-Box and I'll leave you alone forever!"
"What! You don't have it?" Dayton was ready to throw his cell against the wall. "What the fuck have you done now?" She was way in over head with her credit cards. She barely got by as it was.
"I'm going to have your baby." She then said.
"Like hell! I think not!" Dayton was pretty definite on that.
"What are you expecting me to do? Get an abortion?" She sounded it would be all his fault and she was waiting for him to make the decision for her.
"I don't care what you do! Because its not my kid." He stared at the magazines on Geoff's coffee table. Fanned out like art of Nature, and Mother Earth news. Dayton gritted hoping to keep it together. Geoff was out of the shower. Dayton slapped his cell shut. It was time to get ready and enjoy the evening.
