misery loves company

The sun is gone and the flowers rot
Words are spaces between us
And I should've been drown in the rivers I've found of took and lost
And I should've been down when you made me insecure

So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'Cause I'm so much more than meets the eye

And I'm the one you can never trust
'Cause wounds are ways to reveal us
And yeah I could have tried and devoted my life to both of us
But what a waste of my time when the world we have is yours

So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'Cause I'm so much more than all your lies

Hate me, break me down
So break me down
So break me down
So break me down if it makes you feel right
And hate me now if it keeps you alright
You can break me down if it takes all your might
'Cause I'm so much more than meets the eye -
Seether

No more Mr. Nice Guy. Who was he kidding, really? Himself? This was going through Dayton's head after he got Nancy home.

"You were going to put me in the trunk!" Nancy was still hostile. Thankfully, a little tired.

"But I didn't, now did I?" Dayton nursed his bottom lip sitting on the commode while she was sitting in the bath of hot suds. For a moment, he thought it might be nice if she would just drown herself, but he was here. He was sure to know something, and he was sure it would all fall back to him. There was a bruise on her back. It had just been an accident. She hadn't exactly made it easy getting her home. "You're fine, just stop doing stupid shit like this, will you?"

"You just want to fuck me, that's all." She sounded so sure of yourself.

"Fuck you? No. Fuck'n crazy? Yes. That's you. I don't want a thing to do with you! Honestly, I can't stand anything about you!" He knew what ever he said to her, she'd forget. She always did. Everytime he'd come clean, it was if it were a do over the next day. And they were back to square one. Just how long could it go on?

I love this song. I had a horrible fight today, and I'm still not talking to the person. What a pity we live in the same household. But the lyrics apply to my attitude to that person just now.
Oh my gosh - I was shocked and amused at the thought that Dayton had, about Nancy drowning herself. He should just dump her.
She's such a COW, she's made me feel pity for Dayton.
Thanks for the note about Dayton... Yeah, I think I see what he thinks now...

haha i'm a newby to your blog so i'm not totally caught up, i'll have to go read the rest of your posts for that, but i like your writing style. even thought i've popped up in the middle of things, i can still piece together a story even with the little i've read. You've got talent. you're good with descriptions and weaving in a little humor to help pace your writing.

Ok, i'm no critic, so my opinion isn't necessarily valid, but i do like this! I already hate Dayton, but man that chick does sound like a world class bitch, but then again i'll go read the rest of your posts before i decide for sure! You're character development skills are evident even in this one passage and i know just how hard character development can be. So kudos! ok, i hate the word kudos, so just plain CONGRATS!

O, ya, sorry, you don't know me, i'm just a random person randomly posting on your blog. so ya. Hi! O, crazy thought! You should go check out my blog! Won't that be fun?
