the exodus is here

Out here in the fields
I FARM for my meals
I get my back into my living.
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven.
yeah,yeah,yeah,yeah,yeah

Don't cry
Don't raise your eye

Put out the fire
And don't look past my shoulder.
The exodus is here
The happy ones are near
Let's get together
Before we get much older.

-baba o'riley

"Honestly, I think that went rather well," Max said after Chris' Mom and sister left. Chloe was in the crib, and he was tickling her tummy as she kicked away, laughing.

"I guess." Chris shrugged. "I think she gave up on me a long time ago so it shouldn't matter."

"She just needs some time," Max nodded.

"I guess." He still looked sad with a clinched frown.

"It'll be all right, you'll see." Max looked back at him. "Your sister was really, really OK with it."

"What about your Mom?" Chris looked at Max as if now it was his turn.

"I don't know if it would really bother her," Max shrugged. "You and me. But you know, she's not talking to me so why worry about it."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Chris smiled. "At least its over, and I didn't have to make a speech or anything." He put his arm around Max, and they both looked at Chloe. It was a blessed feeling to share with Chris. This moment, knowing they could be happy. They could be a family.

"You know, we're going to talk a lot to her, and she's not going to be afraid of anything. And she'll tell us whatever is on her mind. We'll talk to her friends. We're good parents, you know?" Max then said as he hugged Chris closer. He didn't want this feeling to ever deminish. Never.

I think Max is right, his mom just needs a little bit of time to get used to the whole idea, and hopefully she'll turn around. His sister seemed really supportive though, so at least Chris has her and Max. And Chloe too! (:

Aw, of course Chris's mum needs time to get accustomed to the idea!
Haha, but all the while Max is acting so relaxed about telling CHRIS'S family, I think he doesn't really want to tell his mum...
I think Chris and Max will make good parents, too. I listened to that Baba O'Riley song. I think that the video has really an amazing atmosphere, really fascinating. You always introduce me to interesting new music! Here is a song that you should check out:
