Bex couldn't believe her eyes. Was that really Oliver? He really knew how to use eyeliner. And some lippy, too. She grinned. What was he trying to do to her? He was at the computer punching in and her hands slipped from behind him into the front pockets of his dark trousers. She knew what she wanted to get to.
"God, you smell like a strawberry," she whispered in his ear. "I could eat you."
She slipped her hands back before anyone really noticed in the empty part of the tech room, bounced away with the two ponytails on the sides of her head and straightened her black frame glasses. Really, she needed to be by herself before she felt deliriously happy. Bex went back to her corner and started ripping a box open while he finished punching in.
"Its probably just the lip gloss," Oliver gave her the tube then. "You can keep it, if you want."
"Thanks," she had to act normal which was not much fun, lately. "Is it a special, occasion today."
"No," he shook his head. Then his eyes opened more. "Shit. I have eyeliner on, don't I?"
She smiled. "But you look great."
"Fuck." He pressed his lips together. "Sorry. Do I have- how am I going to get this crap off-"
"No, don't. Its not crap. You look just fine. Its hardly noticeable."
"Yeah, right," He couldn't help but grin. Bex liked making him smile.
"You'll be OK." She smirked. "I'd kiss you, but-"
"I know," Oliver nodded. "Wouldn't want to mess up the lip gloss." He looked straight at her for sometime. "So if anything happens out there, will you save me?"
"Of course." Bex wanted to laugh. What could go wrong?
